Well.. due to my preps for Field Hockey National Championship (Kejurnas), I was searching about defending theory for field hockey.

Since I've been almost 10 years as defender I still have difficulty when in my defending I was outnumbered and my team mates are still on forward position and late to come down.

So this link was enlighten me to what to do and not to do when in defend by theoretically.

And there is one sentence that I love in this article.

Also in isport.com there are many sport tips and trick. From soccer, rugby, lacrose, hockey, running until yoga. Also it provide you from beginner until advance skill level. Gotta stick around with this website whole day and luckily my boss is out of office for a week. Wohoooo :P

People often give credit to the attackers when the team wins and blame the defense when the team loses. But anyone who knows the sport will tell you that a good offense stems from a strong defense.

End of Year

If back to couple of years ago writing "End of Year" means ... Audit period will be started ASAP!

Means stock taking to warehouse (which is my favorite audit procedure), preparing working paper, asking the latest trial balance, never ending over time and else. (Maannn... how I missed my time as an auditor!)

So... December is coming. Means new year or 2015 are few more days. Myself actually not so excited about end of year. Especially this year. Yep. Too many things that I didnt accomplish. But actually a loot of thing happened in my life in this 2014. Buuuutt I dont know.. just lack of a satisfaction for me. 

Nothing much different compare to last year. Still have no hope about what I want.

 I dont know.

Maybe I just feel a little bit tired lately with hockey practice and stuffs. Wake up at 4am and practice again at night in the whole week. And also I feel like everyone was close to me is stepping away from me. 

Yeah. Am over thinking again. And again.

I need a break. Or an escape.

Did someone say beach? or mountain also sounds awesome....

Me miss my normal life. Woke up late and still have time to night run or long run in weekend.

And oh.. I missed the trail run with my friends in Mt. Pancar, Sentul. Pffftttttt.

Octofest !

Octofest!

Hello November.. Sometimes Am kinda excited yet freak out when November come. Because it means December is near and means new plans and hope are coming. Freak out because Am getting older and afraid all my plans are beyond my goals.

Speaking of goals… actually I have no clear idea of life goal recently. Hehehe. Especially in career. Huft.

Wanna go back as an external auditor but afraid I’ll get worst client and manager again.

So based on my 2014 resolutions I can say that half of it already fulfilled. Except learn diving and visit Mt. Rinjani. Planned to join Mt. Rinjani Trail Run but after thinking over… seriously El? You run at Rinjani? Why wont you hike and enjoy the view? Yeah so I will hike that mountain next year (finger crossed).

What so fun on October? Ohh.. it’s a loot! Yeah a lot of fun!

On the first weekend on October me and my friends try to do trail run at Mt. Gede. And that was my first time hike a mountain! And it’s so addictive. Deffo will do it again. Even my leg felt so damn tired at the first but my experience to run at this mountain was AWESOME!. Fresh air, green green green view, passing the hot spring water, and crazy track.

And on the following weekend I went to Sangiang Island. Located near Anyer and took 1 hour 30 minutes by boat from small harbor near Sanghyang Resort. This small island was planned to build a bridge to connected Sumatra and Java Island. But recent news that our president cancelled the plan which I thought a brilliant idea. Because it will save the ecosystem inside and surrounding the Sangiang Island.

With a small boat we explore the Sangiang. Went to the bat cave and catch sunset there. Also  you can do snorkel and free dive at this island. Guess what… the corals are soo soo soooo healthy!

The table coral is big. Colorful coral and many fishes in here. Compare to coral at Gili, Lombok, it almost look alike.  

Also in October my Uni best friend is getting married with her 10 years relationship boyfriend. Is that long? LOL. Actually I forget. They were dated since high school. Kudos to Rahma. Finally girl !! Finally! The wait is over!!! :D

At last weekend of October there is the 2^nd Jakarta Marathon! I didn’t register any category. Because I thought the weather will be SUPER HOT and SUPER HUMID! (Thank you to the El Nino). But my running buddy told me that he had extra BIB for Half Marathon and he gave it to me! Wohooo.

Didn’t make any PB because I hate do long run in Jakarta. (pfftt worst excuse :p )

And afterward enjoying recovery with Tiff and Putri cook. Noomm.

Expect Nothing and You Will be Surprised of Something

In early March as usual there will be hockey tourney at Singapore. Held by SCC (Singapore Cricket Club) and played with 6's a side. Actually it was a fun game in two days. But somehow all participants are really good player who come from all over countries. Malaysia, Bangladesh, Australia, UK, Hongkong and Netherland (of course my team represent Indonesia).

As usual we never expected to be win but inside of  my heart I pray that at least we can win or can go to final. Because mostly the hockey player of this tournament are really good but I confident with my team are as good as they are too :D.

Game started at Saturday at 9am. Our first match was against The Pink Ladies from Oz, we had draw 1-1. And at second and third game we lost 0-3 against SCC from Singapore and 0-3 against Bruce Rock from Oz. At fourth game the winning is started. We won 1-0 against HKCC from Hongkong.

*cough* I was SCORING!! yaaaayy.. lol

At the evening we knew that we will play in plate competition. And again we really not expected that we gonna win. FOR REAL!!

What I love about this tournament definitely the PARTY!!! this year theme was about retro night.. After dinner there will be a Band and DJ playing some oldies and new songs. Night is still young but we already excited to dance and I love to dance.... dance freely hahaha. I  really felt so happy when dancing like I already forget with all the problems in life. Dance like nobody is watching... Right??

Party started at 8pm and will not stop until 1am. On mid night my feet felt soooo in pain. Too much dancing and my shirt already wet. And we caaannn staahhppp. If there is no game on Sunday I believe we will continue partying :p.

 On Sunday we played for knockout. Our first winning on Sunday was a surprise we won 1-0 against Theresian Ladies from Singapore, because it means we play for semifinal!!. On semifinal we met Southern Stormtroopers from Oz. (How many Aussie teams actually in this tournament??) And yap we won 2-0 !!

Wohoooooo. We go to FINAL Lads !!!

I was sooo nervous. I dont wanna lose... I wanna win, I said in my heart. Suprise me team. 

And yep.. we had dribble off. Or in soccer we called penalty shoot.

Thanks god we won 3-1 in dribble off. So we won for Plate Championship!!!

Escaping to Singapore Tournament 2012

Each year the SCC (Singapore Cricket Club) has annual event for hockey competition. Which usually they held it on March.

For this year they held it on the beginning of March.. oh well actually I forget what was the exact date it was :p

Usually it held on Saturday and Sunday but on Friday they had the opening or welcoming guest party.

And for this year they party theme is Superhero/Villaint. But the theme party will be held on Saturday night.

This is my second time visiting Singapore and again because of hockey tournament!!

Stayed at hostel near Bugis for two nights. 

Then back to Jakarta with full guilty feeling. Rrrrrr

Actually for this trip I was escaped from my job for a while. I was an external auditor at that time. And high season of audit already started. I already felt dull because always worked overtime and I missed hockey!.  Event on Saturday I had to came to office... herghhh
So for this time I was took an off day and told my boss that am sick. hihihi
The stupidest thing is... I was using BB at that time and my boss had my bbm since he was looking for me he noticed that my timezone flag was different.
DAMMIT!
hahaha sorry boss.. Sorry I had to lied.

At this time at Singapore I just visitied the Merlion, Marina Sands Bay, Bugis, Clarke Quay, Mustafa and the Padang Field (of course!!).

Never been to Universal Studio Singapore or Jurong Bird Park..
hftt maybe someday.

So Singapore.. I'll be back soon
