Last Day of 2012

Today is the last day of 2012.

We survived from the end of the world.

No catastrophy so far. 

We prove the Mayans wrong.

Rainy season still on in my country. So avoid traveling spent time more with the love ones or check the weather forecast before you travel. At least you prepare.

My wish for 2013.... More traveling pleaseeeeeeeeee...

Last Trip on 2012

I love travelling. I tho it's already my ambition when I was a kid. I always envy with my father who often travelling around Indonesia for his job.

My father works at Goverment, Departement of Education and Culture but now it already separated into different  departement. His job was looking for the incription of heritage like temple, fort, fossil, museum thingy or anything related to our ancient. My father knows anything about old Indonesia. And I adore him for what he did in his job. 

Also I tho it was the coolest job.

When I was graduated from my junior high, I wanted to enter tourism high school. But my mother forbidden me. She was too conservative. She though, if I went to tourism high school, I won't be able go to college.

*sigh

Well hey look at the brightside now. 

Allah now exactly what I want and not forget my wish.

I went to college outside town at Bandung, far away with my mother and father. I join a sport club which now I feel soooo damn lucky to know the sport. I have no idea if I not joined hockey club.

Allah work with mysterious way. Allah not allowing us easily got what we want without any effort, sacrifation, suffer and else. But at the end you can smile and see what you had through.

Ok. It was just an intermezo about what I had done lately. Counting blessing everyday and I am losing my count. Because it is toooooooo much. Alhamdulillah.

And based on the titlle, Yup, last Fiday I visited Palembang for my last audit visit for this year. Planned to visited Makassar but I felt my boss was too busy and I could't got his advice so I will do the visit next year.

Since 8 months of working in this company, I feel so lucky to had opportunity visited many places in Indonesia. From Surabaya, Jogja, Semarang, Makassar, Denpasar, Palembang and Medan.

Phew... 

It just like what I am dreaming about my job. I could travelling and "paid" by company :p

But if there any opportunity  I also want to travelling around the world just because my job. Hehehehe. *who know...

Kiluan Bay Getaway!!

Last long weekend my friends and I visited Kiluan Bay . Ten of us having fun at beach and hunting dolphin in the morning. Here the deeds of our getaway.

My friends Feabi told us at group chat that our tour package was cancelled because the travel agent already fully loaded for that days. We try to search new travel agent but most of them already full booked at the same date. Then we decided to not using travel agent but we try to rent car and stay at guest house/home stay. I try to Google it. And let Feabi called the contact person that I found at internet. On the afternoon she confirmed that the home stay already booked and rent car already had deal.

Arrived at home around 10:30 pm. I just arrived from Pekanbau for work. And not yet packed!!

The Day

Seven of us from Jakarta met up at Gambir Station took Damri bus to Lampung. We stopped at Tanjung Karang, Lampung. From Jakarta we continue to reached Lampung by ferry. Stop at Merak port we hopped on ferry to Bakauheuni port. It tooks 2-3 hours from Merak-Bakauheuni by ferry and took 2 hours from Gambir Station - Merak port by bus.

Around 3pm we reached Bakauheuni and continued our trip to Tanung Karang. Bakauheuni to Tanung Karang was about 1,5-2 hours. Around 5pm we reached Tanjung Karang and met up completely at Tanjung Karang, Lampung. And we decided to started to heading to Kiluan tomorrow morning we stay a night at there. 

D+1

Our cars already ready for heading to Kiluan. From Tanung Karang to Kiluan it took 2 hours. The road condition to reach Kiluan not really good. There were some road really awful. You must be very careful when you drive. 

At 8:30 am we already reached our home stay. Put our staff in the house and prepared our self for visited Pasir Putih

We back to home stay and wait for lunch which served by the wife of the home stay owner. We had delicious lunch :9

After lunch we headed to Pulau Kalapa. Island across the Kiluan. Our tour guide rent the life jacket and snorkel gear. That was my very first time had snorkel *um yeah..

And I was amaze... saw a lot of school fish down there.. Oh lovely. Totally envy with my friend who can swim without life jacket. Swim freely

After feel enough to snorkel, Koplak, we called our tour guide like that because he is ridiculous and silly, took us to Laguna to watched sunset. We had no idea where he will took us. But when there is a cliff.. about   7 meters, he said us the Laguna is behind the cliff. And I was shocked.. It was totally extreme cliff for me. I collected my gut to climb it. And when you reached the Laguna.. the view was breath taking.. wowww

We didn't get sunset because the cloud was dark.. so we decided to came back. But when we want to go home.. the rain come.. and when after dawn the rain already stop. When we back to home stay by the boat..it was dark and beside us the dark cloud and storm light with creepy wind. Also sometime our boat shaking because the wind. Oh god... super horror.

When we arrived.. our dinner almost ready. Cleaned up our self and had dinner.. after that we all felt sleepy...

D+2

Woke up early to saw dolphins....

our tour guide said yesterday the number of dolphins came out was enormous. And we all soooo excited to heard that. But based on what I read. Dolphin not really like to came out to sea when the wave is quite big. And last night we had rain. Myself lower expectation to saw the enormous dolphin.

We saw plenty dolphin.. and when we headed to dolphin usually came out.. the wave was big.. 

Not quiet happy and satisfied with the dolphin tour... we decided to water fall. Our tour guide said it must by  motorcycle to reached it. Because the road condition super terrible. And YES it is. The road was steep and the condition of road not really good. We stopped at the nearest water fall. not to big.. but we were so happy to swim at there. The water is totally fresh.

That's the end of our trip. 

I heard next week the electricity will came up to the village.. so perhaps next month the cellular signal at there will pretty good. 

We had blank signal when at this trip.. but it was also good. No disturbing message..ait??

Maroon 5 Concert

I'm not a big fans of them. But unrealized that my phone ringtone usually their song.. many of their songs is my fave.
So when they came to Jakarta, S want to watch it. Also my super nice boyfie bought me a ticket also. *blushing

Bangkok Tour Part 2

Well in this post will talk about how I spent my day at Bangkok.

Arrived at Bangkok just a day before King;s Birthday. As usual will be a parade at the Palace. A lot of people will be there. We want to catch up the parade but we thought the road will be so damn traffic. So we skipped it.

Also we visited the Chatuchak Market which famous as the thrift market. Try the local food sticky rice with mango it's sooo yummy!

Bangkok is shopping heaven.. the clothes are cheap also chic. Return from this trip I claimed bankrupt. LOL

Escaping to Singapore Tournament 2012

Each year the SCC (Singapore Cricket Club) has annual event for hockey competition. Which usually they held it on March.

For this year they held it on the beginning of March.. oh well actually I forget what was the exact date it was :p

Usually it held on Saturday and Sunday but on Friday they had the opening or welcoming guest party.

And for this year they party theme is Superhero/Villaint. But the theme party will be held on Saturday night.

This is my second time visiting Singapore and again because of hockey tournament!!

Stayed at hostel near Bugis for two nights. 

Then back to Jakarta with full guilty feeling. Rrrrrr

Actually for this trip I was escaped from my job for a while. I was an external auditor at that time. And high season of audit already started. I already felt dull because always worked overtime and I missed hockey!.  Event on Saturday I had to came to office... herghhh
So for this time I was took an off day and told my boss that am sick. hihihi
The stupidest thing is... I was using BB at that time and my boss had my bbm since he was looking for me he noticed that my timezone flag was different.
DAMMIT!
hahaha sorry boss.. Sorry I had to lied.

At this time at Singapore I just visitied the Merlion, Marina Sands Bay, Bugis, Clarke Quay, Mustafa and the Padang Field (of course!!).

Never been to Universal Studio Singapore or Jurong Bird Park..
hftt maybe someday.

So Singapore.. I'll be back soon

A (cancelled) Tournament At Thailand (Bangkok Tour Part 1)

On December 2011 ( yeah old story) I visited Bangkok with my hockey friends (Susi, Tiff and Ka Otong). Well actually we booked the ticket to Bangkok for a hockey tournament. But it was cancelled due to the flood at Bangkok which occurred on November. It was impacted the hockey field. Too bad :(

Since our tickets are nonrefundable we decided to visited Bangkok. It was my first time to Bangkok and kinda EXCITEDD!!

So after 3 hours night flight from Soetta Airport to Svarnabhumi Airport the fun is started!!

First & Second day :

After landed at Svarnabhumi airport and the gang and I already met up completely than we took a bus to Pattaya and spend a day there. During at Pattaya we rent motorcycle in front of our hotel. It cost only 200 bath a day. They didn't hold our passport only took picture of us and they capture our passport detail by their camera.

We visited floating market at Pattaya and then we heading to Jomtien Beach and try to catching sunset and spent night watch the attraction along the Pattaya Red District. *jaw paw!!*. That street is really-really insane!. You can see the ladyboy/shemale a loott! and more night you there the clubs are more hotter. 

The striptease getting hot and you can see it from outside. 

I enter a bar which had two main different band. In front of bar the band is playing more pop song while the inside there is a dj and hip hop music!! 

Then Kak Otong asked us to saw a Russian Bar... after we arrived there.. Oh mai ghatt!! inside the club all Russian girls already half naked while pole dancing.. We decided not to watched it. Felt embarrassing ang disgusting at the same time. But actually yes am curious :p

Third day :

Heading to Bangkok by shuttle car... eventually our friends hired a tour agent and the tour agent provided shuttle from Pattaya to Bangkok. After reach our hostel (we stayed at hosteling international) and then we go to Chatuchak Market. A must visited market when you in Bangkok.
